You know the left lane driver. The one that takes its time... not passing anyone but slowly chillaxing in the left lane? The one... the one who makes your blood boil because they are slowing down traffic for what seems like miles upon miles. My blood is boiling just thinking about it.
Today, it happened. I sent the meanest teacher look I could at the person in the car in front of me, going less than the speed limit. LESS. Dear God, why? After minutes of excruciating pain, I was able to pass to make it to my exit. I released the anxious breath I had been holding for the last ten minutes only to see the car follow me. It followed me all the way to school... where I work... I parked my car like a crazy person and ran out of there to try and make it into the building before having to do the walk of shame by the car. But, I was not successful. I was walking toward the building when the the driver looked at me with a snarl. Yup. She knew.
Many things crossed my mind. First, would she flip me off? Second, would I retaliate? Third, would she try to hit me? (I was on foot, right in front of her) But, she took the high route because she just snarled her teeth and gave me a nasty look. I laughed.
I get flipped off and cussed at most days working with teenagers. This woman had nothing on me.
So long story short, don't drive like an asshole.
