A Drink for Each Book

As I recently received a contract for my eighth book to be coming out in 2020, I wanted to do something fun with the stories I already have out and pair them up with the perfect companion drink.  It's summer, hot as hell in Phoenix, and I'm eight months pregnant so this gives me the perfect time to live vicariously through the pictures of delicious cocktails.

Let Life Happen:  Sam Adams Boston Lager

The beer is perfect for an opposites-attract college romance where our feisty heroine works and manages a campus bar. She knows what she likes and would choose a cold Sam Adams over any cheap free beer.

Take a Chance On Me: Peach Sangria

This friends-to-lovers story is steamy, hot, and takes place in Phoenix during the summer.  Two childhood friends must live together for the summer and and for the first time, they are both single, cannot back down from a dare, and partake in an innocent game of strip poker...only, the game changes everything.

Challenge Accepted: Old Style

This is the start of my Cleat Chasers (College baseball romance) Series and nothing says watching baseball like an ice cold Old Style. The main characters in this story live and breath baseball and some of my favorite memories are drinking Old Style when sitting in the bleachers at Wrigley Field. 

The Game Changer: Vodka Sprite with a Lime

This story is dramatic, loud, full of flavor and I envision the heroine sipping one of these anytime she had "boy" problems. It's also a classic drink and our heroine works as a bartender where our hero is a scandal-prone jock. 

Evening the Score: Old-Fashioned

I might be biased by an Old Fashion might be my favorite drink of all time. It hits you hard in the chest (in a good way) leaves a great after-taste and goes down so smoothly. 
The characters in this story will stay with you after you finish and they are rough around the edges (much like this drink) but it's all worth it in the end.

Whiskey Surprises: Jameson

Like the title, Whiskey Surprises, this book pairs real well with a nice whiskey on the rocks. The two main characters find each other in a bar, drinking whiskey, and things progress rather quickly from there. 

My go-to drink is a whiskey and ginger ale since I'm not brave enough to go straight on the rocks. 

Best Player: Blue Moon

Blue Moon is the perfect beer for this fun, falling for her brother's BFF sports romance. There's a lot of sneaking around (like the sneaky orange flavor of the beer) and delicious scenes between our two characters.
